A background processing queue used for order fulfillment experienced high volumes today and consequently, up to a 15 minute delay in processing. This made orders placed via the UI appear like they were "processing", and also caused other issues in reward fulfillment. Engineers identified the issue, scaled up our processing infrastructure, and site functionality went back to normal within ~30 minutes.
